NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Sept. 28, 2026 — American designer and former fashion stylist Leanne Ford is returning to fashion with her debut footwear collection, developed with California-based luxury leather footwear brand beek.

The September launch marks beek’s first private-label boot collection with Ford, bringing together her earthy, modern and minimalist design aesthetic with beek’s focus on handcrafted leather footwear, comfort and longevity. The collection is being sold exclusively through beek’s online platform at prices ranging from $395 to $450.

Ford, who spent more than a decade working in fashion as a stylist and creative director before building a broader career in interiors, television, publishing and product design, described boots as a longstanding part of her personal style.

“Designing my own boot collection has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember,” Ford said, adding that her longstanding relationship with beek founders Birgit Klett and Kenna Florie made the collaboration a natural return to her fashion roots.

Design-led footwear proposition

The collection was designed jointly by Ford and the beek founders around what the companies describe as a shared appreciation for craftsmanship and intentional design. The boots use premium, soft leather and emphasize detailed construction, wearability and long-term use.

Ford’s design direction is reflected particularly in the collection’s earthy, lived-in colour palette, minimalist aesthetic and emphasis on the relationship between appearance and underfoot comfort. The positioning gives the boots a lifestyle-oriented proposition rather than treating them solely as a fashion statement.

For beek, the partnership also extends its brand proposition through a recognisable creative personality. The company says it has known Ford for more than 20 years, dating back to their shared fashion-industry connections, making the collection both a product collaboration and a continuation of an established relationship.

From fashion stylist to multidisciplinary designer

Ford’s return is notable because her current public profile extends well beyond traditional fashion. Her career has included interiors, retail environments, product design, publishing and television, while collaborations have included brands such as Crate & Barrel, Target, il Buco Vita and Loloi Rugs.

That background gives the boot collection a cross-category design identity: footwear becomes another product platform for Ford’s established visual language rather than a standalone move into a new category. The release therefore places personal design signatures, lifestyle positioning and premium craftsmanship at the centre of the product proposition.

For beek, meanwhile, the collection reinforces its positioning as an everyday-luxury footwear brand built around leather craftsmanship and comfort. The company says each pair is designed for all-day wear and focuses on longevity and timeless design. It also states that it donates the equivalent of a day’s worth of meals to a child in need for every pair of shoes sold.

The Leanne Ford collection became available through beekshop.com in September 2026, with the retail price spanning $395-$450.
