The collaboration spans womenswear, menswear, eveningwear, bridal and accessories, positioning Elie Saab’s couture codes for a wider global fashion audience.
PARIS — H&M and ELIE SAAB have staged a Paris celebration for their upcoming designer collaboration, highlighting a collection that brings the Lebanese fashion house’s signature glamour and craftsmanship into a broader ready-to-wear proposition.
The event, held on 28 September at Paris’s historic Palais Brongniart, provided the first public glimpse of the collaboration ahead of its global launch on 22 October 2026. The collection will be available online and in selected H&M stores worldwide.
For the fashion industry, the partnership extends H&M’s long-running designer-collaboration model into the world of ELIE SAAB, a house associated with haute couture, bridalwear, red-carpet dressing and embellished evening fashion. H&M said the collaboration reflects the contemporary vision and house codes of ELIE SAAB while translating them across a wider wardrobe.
The range covers womenswear, menswear and accessories, including footwear, with key pieces including embellished gowns, shimmering separates and sharply tailored looks. Fine lace, gradient sequins and signature monograms form part of the collection’s design language.
A major reveal at the Paris event was a bridal gown and veil, extending ELIE SAAB’s established bridal heritage into the collaboration. The mermaid-shaped gown features a dramatic train, a twisting off-the-shoulder construction and a hand-embroidered veil.
The bridal look also underlines the commercial breadth of the project. Rather than limiting the partnership to conventional casual or occasionwear, H&M is bringing a highly recognisable luxury aesthetic into multiple product categories and style occasions.
The Paris setting was central to the activation. Palais Brongniart was transformed with burgundy draping and a red-carpet entrance designed around ELIE SAAB’s association with glamour and major red-carpet appearances. The event was attended by fashion personalities including Amelia Gray, Gabbriette, Iris Law, Anok Yai, Imaan Hammam, Lila Moss, Marisa Abela and Calum Harper. Music performances and DJ sets formed part of the wider launch experience.
ELIE SAAB said Paris had a particular significance for the collaboration, describing the city as close to his heart and a natural setting for celebrating the collection during a period when much of the fashion industry was gathered there.
H&M’s Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor and Head of Design Womenswear, said the collaboration was intended to capture the ornate and glamorous character associated with ELIE SAAB.
From Beirut to a global retail platform
The collaboration also connects H&M’s global distribution reach with ELIE SAAB’s evolution from a Beirut-founded fashion house into an internationally recognised couture and luxury brand. H&M noted that Elie Saab became one of the first international members of France’s Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, while his work expanded from bridal creations into couture, ready-to-wear and accessories.
That positioning gives the collection significance beyond a celebrity-driven fashion launch. It represents a direct translation of couture-inspired design signatures into a scaled retail environment, with craftsmanship, embellishment and occasion dressing serving as central commercial propositions.
With the collection scheduled to reach consumers from 22 October, the ELIE SAAB x H&M launch will put the focus on how effectively a luxury house’s distinctive visual identity can be adapted across a broader, globally accessible product architecture.
