ST. HELENA, Calif., Oct. 1, 2026 – Napa Valley winery Rombauer Vineyards, best known for its Carneros Chardonnay, has released a limited-edition Western boot made with Texas-based Lane Boots.

The "Joy" Boot is made from Chardonnay-washed leather, a golden finish meant to recall the winery's flagship wine. Metallic embroidery of vineyard grapevines and mustard blooms runs along the shaft, and the vamp and heel are suede. Lane's signature hand-stitching is used throughout.

Each pair carries Rombauer's brand seal and a custom "Rombauer Blue" sole, a nod to Lane's trademark Blue Bottoms.

The boot costs $395 and is sold exclusively at rombauer.com/lane-boots while supplies last. It went on sale Oct. 1.

The collaboration draws on the winery's Western roots. Founder Koerner Rombauer was a cowboy at heart, and the family remains involved in ranching, according to the company.

"Every detail of this boot pays homage to our heritage," said Heather McCarthy, Rombauer's director of marketing.

Lane Boots President Jill Gathmann said the brands share an appreciation for craftsmanship and heritage. "The 'Joy' Boot beautifully bridges our two worlds," she said.

Lane, founded in 2007, is a women-led Western footwear brand that owns and operates its factory in León, Mexico, where its boots are handcrafted. The company is the official bootmaker of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and has worked with artists including Megan Moroney.
