CINCINNATI, October 9, 2026 — Precision Products Group (PPG), a portfolio company of Auxo Investment Partners, has acquired Monadnock Non-Wovens LLC (MNW), a Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of engineered meltblown nonwoven materials, strengthening its position in technical textiles and specialty materials.

The acquisition expands PPG’s Engineered Textiles division, adding meltblown nonwovens to a portfolio that already includes paper, tubing, braided and other woven products. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded by the Verney family and family-owned for more than 25 years, MNW develops specialty nonwoven media for filtration, acoustic dampening, medical, automotive, appliance and consumer applications. The company operates meltblown and hydro-charging production lines ranging from 70 to 94 inches in width and designs and builds its own fibre-production equipment.

Its in-house applications development laboratory supports customers in moving new materials from pilot production to full-scale manufacturing, strengthening its role as a supplier of customised, performance-driven materials.

Tom Moore, PPG’s chief executive officer, said the acquisition fits the group’s strategy of investing in highly engineered materials businesses. PPG plans to apply its capital, operational and engineering expertise to improve equipment, expand capabilities and optimise processes, enhancing MNW’s responsiveness and competitiveness.

MNW will retain its existing brand and continue operating within the PPG portfolio. James Cree will remain president, maintaining leadership continuity as the company enters the group.

Cree said the partnership would help accelerate material innovation, particularly in acoustic dampening and filtration solutions, by combining MNW’s technical expertise with PPG’s resources.

Auxo Investment Partners Managing Partner Jeff Helminski described MNW as a strategic addition, citing its in-house equipment design, process expertise and track record of developing customised materials alongside customers.

The deal highlights the continuing strategic importance of specialised nonwovens in industrial and technical textile supply chains. By bringing MNW into its platform, PPG broadens its material capabilities beyond conventional paper, tubing and woven products into a category serving multiple performance-critical end markets.
