The Turkish textile giant, Yeşim Group, aims to reach $500 million in annual exports from its Egyptian operations before the end of 2030.

Jade Textile Egypt, a subsidiary of the group, is currently on track to meet its export turnover target of $285 million by the end of this year, Group CEO Selim Şankaya said during a meeting in Cairo on Tuesday.

In discussions with Egypt’s Minister of Industry, Khaled Hashem, Şankaya noted that the company expects full-scale production across its facilities in Alexandria, Ismailia, and newly established sites to be instrumental in achieving these targets. Earlier this month, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inaugurated a new Jade Textile factory.

During the meeting, Selim presented plans to further expand operations and establish additional factories. The company also remains committed to adopting sustainability and green industry standards throughout its dyeing and textile production processes, he added.

Furthermore, he suggested that Egypt should incentivize more Turkish companies to invest in the local textile waste recycling sector.

Headquartered in Bursa, Turkey, Yeşim Group maintains sourcing partnerships with many global brands. In addition to its Egyptian presence—which began in 2008 and now employs nearly 15,000 workers—the group operates facilities in Moldova to serve the European market.

Yesim Group currently employs over 19,000 people across five production sites, generating USD 510 million in revenue, with exports accounting for USD 490 million.
