COPENHAGEN — PUMA and Copenhagen-based running brand SAYSKY are bringing Scandinavian design and performance technology together in Back to Business, the final chapter of their collaboration, reflecting the growing convergence of running, lifestyle and everyday fashion.

The collection is built around runners who carry their passion for the sport into every part of their day, positioning running not simply as a sporting activity but as a cultural and lifestyle expression. PUMA says the collaboration with SAYSKY is designed to bridge performance and everyday office style.

For SAYSKY, the project reinforces Copenhagen’s role as a source of contemporary Scandinavian running and fashion culture. Its signature Scandinavian design language is combined with PUMA’s advanced running technology, creating a collection designed to move between work, everyday life and the start line.

Scandinavian design meets performance

Inspired by classic business attire, Back to Business reinterprets tailoring through a performance lens. Clean silhouettes, refined colour palettes, pinstripe detailing and elevated finishes give technical running products a distinctly Scandinavian fashion character.

The approach reflects a wider shift in sportswear, where consumers increasingly expect technical products to fit into multiple areas of their lives. Rather than separating officewear, leisurewear and running apparel, the collection proposes a more flexible wardrobe for consumers whose professional and sporting routines overlap.

SAYSKY’s Copenhagen identity is central to that proposition. The brand brings an aesthetic associated with Scandinavian simplicity and functionality, while PUMA supplies the technical running platform.

PUMA technology drives the footwear offer

The footwear collection is led by two exclusive PUMA x SAYSKY models: the Deviate NITRO Elite 4 and MagMax NITRO 2.

The Deviate NITRO Elite 4 is developed for race-day speed, featuring NITROFOAM ELITE cushioning and a full-length PWRPLATE carbon-fibre plate designed to deliver responsiveness, energy return and propulsion. The MagMax NITRO 2 is aimed at everyday training, combining a high-stack NITROFOAM midsole with an engineered knit upper and PUMAGRIP outsole.

The footwear is complemented by premium apparel and accessories. Lightweight performance materials, refined construction and business-inspired design details are used to create pieces for runners moving between work, training and everyday activities.

Running becomes part of Scandinavian lifestyle fashion

PUMA’s Conor Cashin, Lead Product Line Manager, said running has evolved beyond sport into a culture, community and means of personal expression. The Back to Business concept therefore focuses on consumers who organise their daily lives around running rather than treating it as an isolated sporting activity.

That positioning gives SAYSKY a distinctive role in the collaboration. Its Copenhagen roots and Scandinavian design identity help translate PUMA’s performance technology into a broader lifestyle proposition.

For the Scandinavian fashion market, the collaboration demonstrates how running can become a vehicle for design innovation as well as technical development. It also shows how regional brands can use their local design identity to create products with international relevance.

Copenhagen becomes the runway for the collaboration

PUMA and SAYSKY will mark the launch with the Out of Office Relay in Copenhagen on 20 August. The event will turn an office building into an unconventional running environment, with participants moving through elevators, stairwells and parking garages before an evening celebration.

The Copenhagen setting reinforces the collection’s central idea: running is embedded in everyday urban life.

The PUMA x SAYSKY Back to Business collection launches globally on 20 August 2026 at 11:00 a.m. CET through PUMA.com, SAYSKY.com, PUMA flagship stores and selected retailers worldwide.

As the final chapter of the PUMA-SAYSKY collaboration, Back to Business brings together PUMA’s technical performance credentials and SAYSKY’s Scandinavian fashion language, highlighting the increasingly fluid boundary between sportswear and contemporary lifestyle fashion.
