SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 25, 2026 Athleta, the women’s performance and lifestyle apparel brand owned by Gap Inc. (NYSE: GAP), has debuted its Fall 2026 campaign, “My World. My Rules.” The initiative marks a shift for the brand, putting women’s individual stories of strength at its core while pushing back against conventional ideas about performance and power.

The campaign follows three women who have made their mark in fields traditionally dominated by men: archer Sofia Napoli, martial artist and stuntwoman Jewelianna Ramos-Ortiz, and motorsport competitor Jordan Rand. Filmed against Iceland’s landscapes and directed by Laura Jane Coulson, the campaign is scored to Sudan Archives’ “Selfish Soul,” a track about resisting the pressure to conform. The throughline of the visuals is that femininity and strength aren’t in tension — they’re the same thing, expressed differently by each woman.

Athleta’s Chief Marketing Officer, Erika Everett, framed the effort as part of a broader push toward what she called a female-first world — one where women stop measuring themselves against rules that weren’t designed with them in mind, and where individual definitions of strength are celebrated rather than standardized.

The campaign doubles as a showcase for Athleta’s Fall lineup, which spans technical outerwear, satin sets, pleated performance pieces, and everyday active basics — all reflecting what the brand describes as an updated design direction blending function with a more elevated look.

Beyond digital, social, email, and in-store rollout, Athleta is taking the campaign to Olivia Rodrigo’s first-ever Daisy Chain Fields Festival on August 29. There, the brand will operate “Athleta World,” a wellness space offering festival attendees guided meditation and sensory experiences meant to encourage rest and connection.

Athleta, headquartered in San Francisco and a Certified B Corp, operates more than 250 stores across the U.S. and Canada in addition to its e-commerce business, with a stated mission centered on advancing women and girls through movement-focused apparel.
