Stockholm – H&M MOVE released a new women’s gym collection this week, positioning the line at the intersection of style and athletic performance. The range, launching Thursday, August 20, in select H&M stores globally and on hm.com, is built around the brand’s proprietary SculptMove™ fabric technology. The H&M MOVE gym collection has been selling since August 20 in select H&M stores worldwide and online at hm.com.
Fashion Meets Function
The collection reflects a broader shift in how women approach the gym — not just as a place to train, but as a space for personal style. H&M MOVE’s new pieces lean into that shift, offering activewear designed to hold up through a workout while carrying a distinct fashion sensibility. Marie Fredros, Head of Design at H&M MOVE, described the concept behind the line as pairing confidence with performance. According to Fredros, feeling strong and put-together in what you wear carries through into how you train and move through the rest of the day.
SculptMove™ Technology at the Core
The collection’s foundation is SculptMove™, a fabric engineered to contour and support the body through movement — from lifting to running through a full set. The core lineup includes sports bras, tops, leggings, and shorts, built to layer easily with lighter, breathable tops.
From Studio to Street
The collection doesn’t stop at performance basics. Statement sets are designed to transition seamlessly from the gym to everyday wear, with woven jackets and trousers featuring water-repellent finishes, along with hooded pieces and matching joggers in a sculptural scuba fabric. The silhouettes lean into current trends: rounded shoulders, funnel necks, and balloon or barrel-shaped leg cuts.
Color and Finish
The seasonal palette includes cherry red, ink black, navy, optic white, and a signature cobalt blue. A new high-shine finish adds a polished, editorial quality to select pieces, while a liquid-effect logo detail gives the collection a subtle branded signature throughout.
