TORONTO, Aug. 21, 2026 — Canada Goose has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 collection under Creative Director Haider Ackermann, expanding the Canadian outerwear specialist’s seasonal offering with new silhouettes, broader categories and a stronger emphasis on colour, texture and craftsmanship.
Styled and directed by Ackermann, the campaign brings together pieces from across the season and reflects his approach to autumn and winter as periods to embrace with optimism and creativity rather than simply endure.
The collection is presented through “Second Nature,” the Fall/Winter chapter of Canada Goose’s Natural Intelligence platform. The concept explores the familiarity people develop with cold-weather dressing through repeated seasonal rituals and personal experience.
“Second Nature” also gives Canada Goose a broader lifestyle proposition. Rather than treating winter primarily as a technical challenge, the brand positions seasonal dressing as an expression of individual identity, shaped by different climates, cities, habits and cultural experiences.
“Confidence in the season doesn’t come from preparation alone, it comes from experience,” said Carrie Baker, President, Brand & Commercial at Canada Goose. She said the collection’s broader category offering, new silhouettes and design approach are intended to give consumers more ways to express their relationship with fall and winter.
Ackermann Brings a Different Fashion Language to Canada Goose
Haider Ackermann deserves particular attention in the collection because his appointment represents a significant creative shift for a brand historically defined by technical outerwear and extreme-weather performance.
The Belgian-Colombian designer is known for a distinctive approach to tailoring, proportion, colour, draping and sophisticated layering. His fashion language has often combined sharp structure with fluid silhouettes and an expressive use of texture and colour. Bringing that perspective to Canada Goose allows the brand to push its outerwear heritage further into contemporary luxury and fashion.
For Fall/Winter 2026, that influence is visible in the emphasis on silhouette, texture, colour and styling across categories, rather than relying solely on the technical credentials of individual outerwear pieces. Ackermann’s role therefore extends beyond campaign aesthetics: it signals an effort to broaden how Canada Goose is perceived and how its products can be worn.
His arrival is especially notable because Canada Goose has increasingly positioned itself at the intersection of performance, fashion and lifestyle. Ackermann’s design credentials could strengthen that positioning by giving the brand a more recognisable fashion point of view while retaining its Canadian craftsmanship and cold-weather identity.
A Wider Lifestyle Proposition
The Fall/Winter 2026 collection indicates that Canada Goose is continuing to expand beyond its traditional identity as a premium winter-outerwear specialist.
The combination of lightweight down, fleece, knitwear, shirting, accessories and footwear creates a more complete seasonal wardrobe, while Ackermann’s creative direction adds a stronger fashion dimension.
The collection is available through Canada Goose, its global retail locations and selected retailers.
For Canada Goose, the importance of Fall/Winter 2026 therefore extends beyond a seasonal launch. It is an effort to make winter dressing more personal and expressive, with Ackermann’s fashion perspective central to that evolution.
