STOCKHOLM — Gap Inc. is expanding its presence across the Nordic and Baltic markets through a strategic partnership with Iconic Brands Nordic LLC, adding new digital, department-store and dedicated retail channels to its European growth strategy.

The rollout will begin in August with Gap launching on Boozt in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. The brand will then enter Stockmann department stores in Finland, Estonia and Latvia, followed by the opening of Gap’s first dedicated retail store and e-commerce site in Estonia in September.

The partnership is designed to build a broader omnichannel presence, allowing customers to access Gap through major digital platforms, department stores and dedicated retail.

Facundo Ginobili, Gap Inc.’s Senior Vice President, Franchise and Wholesale, said the company sees “meaningful opportunity” in the region and aims to combine brand storytelling, experiences, partnerships and omnichannel retail to strengthen customer engagement.

Kristjan Rajando, CEO of Iconic Brands Nordic, said the partnership will make Gap more accessible to Nordic and Baltic consumers both online and in stores, with the brand’s established style and everyday essentials expected to resonate across the region.

The expansion gives Gap a multi-stage route into Northern Europe, combining an established e-commerce marketplace, premium department-store distribution and dedicated retail. It also strengthens the company’s strategy of using local partners to extend its international reach while maintaining a consistent brand experience.

Established in 2025 as a joint venture between Brandgate Group and Tristafan, Iconic Brands Nordic is Gap Inc.’s exclusive regional partner for the Nordic and Baltic markets. The company is focused on developing Gap’s retail, wholesale and digital ecosystem across Northern Europe, combining Brandgate Group’s retail and wholesale expertise with Tristafan’s investment capabilities.

For Gap, the partnership provides a relatively asset-light route to regional expansion while increasing the number of customer touchpoints across both physical and digital retail.
