NEW YORK: Crown Brands Group (“Crown”) has officially announced the completion of its acquisition of the iconic Italian luxury lingerie brand, Cosabella, from the Swiss-listed CALIDA GROUP.
This major transaction marks Crown’s second acquisition in just seven months, following its December 2025 purchase of the renowned intimates brand Hanky Panky. Together, the two acquisitions establish Crown as a powerful force in the premium intimates sector.
Founded in 1983 and renowned for blending Italian craftsmanship with modern design, Cosabella translates to “beautiful thing” and has spent over four decades empowering women through functional yet beautiful lingerie.
According to Crown CEO Raymond Dayan, Cosabella meets all the criteria of the company’s growth model: true heritage, devoted customers, and international recognition.
Crown will oversee global strategy, marketing, and licensing. Meanwhile, core operating partner Rafar Group (parent of Gelmart International) will drive product design, e-commerce, and
distribution—utilizing the same synergy that powers Hanky Panky. Additionally, Dreamwear has been named the official licensee for Cosabella’s sleepwear and loungewear categories.
With its foundation firmly established in the premium intimates vertical, Crown Brands Group is actively evaluating further acquisitions. Backed by G72 Holdings—the family office of Century 21 Stores co-founder Raymond Gindi—Crown is setting its sights on scaling additional heritage brands with global recognition across apparel, lifestyle, and adjacent consumer markets.
