PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 24, 2026 — Anthropologie has announced an exclusive lifestyle collaboration with heritage British brand Barbour, bringing the two brands together across fashion, home and pet categories for the first time.
The collection combines Barbour’s longstanding connection to the outdoors with Anthropologie’s distinctive use of color, pattern and unexpected details. It expands the Barbour assortment at Anthropologie by 200% year over year and marks Barbour’s first entry into home products through the retailer.
Anthropologie is a design-led lifestyle brand offering fashion, home, weddings, garden and gifting products, with more than 220 stores globally. Barbour, founded in 1894 in South Shields, England, is a fifth-generation family business best known for its waxed jackets and heritage-inspired outdoor clothing and accessories.
The collaboration brings the shared aesthetic to tabletop, textiles, lighting, fashion and pet products. Classic Barbour tartans pair with Anthropologie florals, rich textures, and playful accents across mugs, bowls, pillows, throw blankets, floor cushions, and LED lanterns.
Five exclusive outerwear styles and coordinating pet accessories also extend the collection from home to outdoor wear. The assortment is designed around fall activities ranging from crisp days outdoors and tailgates to weekend outings and evenings by the fire.
“Barbour has built a legacy around timeless craftsmanship and pieces that are made to be lived in and loved over time,” said Anu Narayanan, Global President of Women’s, Home and Retail at Anthropologie. She said the collaboration offered an opportunity to reinterpret the world customers already associate with Barbour through Anthropologie’s approach to color, pattern and detail.
Nicola Brown, Director of Women’s Wear at Barbour, said the partnership allowed the company to combine its heritage and craftsmanship with Anthropologie’s creative, feminine aesthetic.
The collection is priced from $18 to $674 and launches Aug. 24, 2026, at select Anthropologie stores and online at Anthropologie.com.
Barbour’s heritage dates to its founding by John Barbour in 1894. The company initially produced waxed garments designed to protect fishermen, sailors and mariners from Britain’s harsh weather. Today, its lifestyle range includes clothing, outerwear, accessories and footwear, while its sustainability initiatives include repair, re-waxing and upcycling programs.
The collaboration expands a partnership that began when Barbour arrived at Anthropologie in May 2025, when its signature outerwear quickly became a customer favorite.
