RIO DE JANEIRO — Brazilian fashion powerhouse FARM Rio is taking its global supply chain into the digital age. The brand has announced a strategic partnership with AI-powered platform Inspectorio to streamline regulatory compliance and modernize operations as it accelerates its international expansion.

As a flagship brand of AZZAS 2154—Latin America’s largest fashion retail group—FARM Rio will deploy Inspectorio’s advanced technology across its growing retail network in France, Italy, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Founded in Rio de Janeiro in 1997 by Katia Barros and Marcello Bastos, the brand has gained a devoted international following for its vibrant, nature-inspired textiles. Since launching its global footprint in 2019 with a flagship boutique in SoHo, New York, FARM Rio has expanded to 17 international boutiques and partnered with over 2,000 wholesale accounts and high-end retailers, including Selfridges, Bloomingdale’s, Le Bon Marché, and Galeries Lafayette.

To sustain this rapid growth while navigating a complex regulatory landscape, FARM Rio is integrating three core solutions from Inspectorio’s platform:

  • Quality Risk Management: Standardizes inspection workflows, scheduling, and reporting across the brand’s global network.
  • Lab Test Management: Centralizes lab test requests, results, and audit-ready data to accelerate time-to-market for new styles.
  • Traceability and Transparency: Streamlines compliance efforts using automated data collection, document validation, and real-time translation to meet international mandates.

The partnership comes at a critical time for the apparel sector. According to Inspectorio’s 2026 State of Supply Chain Report, 52% of retail supply chain leaders cite the impact of regulatory changes as a top operational focus, a trend that has persisted over the last three years. Additionally, 62% of current AI users in retail supply chains point to reduced manual workload as a primary benefit—an efficiency FARM Rio stands to gain as it scales.

“As we grow, Inspectorio provides us with the platform and regulatory expertise to fully digitize our operations,” said Alexandra Brito, Head of Quality at FARM Rio. “We can now scale our international business with the confidence that our supply chain meets the highest standards in the markets we serve.”

Chirag Patel, CEO of Inspectorio, noted that forward-thinking brands are increasingly viewing their supply chains as strategic growth drivers rather than isolated cost centers. “FARM Rio recognized that early, replacing fragmented operations with a single digital platform as it scales across the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East.”
