McRae Industries Continues Receiving US Military Boot Contracts

McRae Industries continues a flurry of major defense contract awards from the United States Government DLA Troop Support, alongside updates on tariff refunds and its latest financial performance.

The North Carolina-based footwear manufacturer on July 20 announced that it has locked in another contract with the federal government for Navy Safety Toe Boots with a maximum estimated value of up to $32,998,023.

Earlier, on June 26, 2026, the company secured a four-year, firm-fixed-price contract for Marine temperate weather combat boots. This award carries an estimated value of $24,296,263, with a maximum cap of $31,730,382.

On April 29, 2026, it received a contract for Air Force Temperate Weather Boots, landing a 36-month contract valued at approximately $15,441,664, with initial deliveries slated within 150 days.

Tariff Refunds Bring Relief

McRae also reported receiving approximately $2,500,000 in tariff refunds from the U.S. Government on June 29, 2026. This recovery accounts for a significant portion of the $3,000,000 in tariffs paid by the company over the fiscal year. Management noted that while efforts to secure additional refunds are ongoing, further returns are not guaranteed.
